I've been mulling over what rating to give this book since I finished it a few days ago and I've settled on 2 stars. I didn't enjoy the stories, I thought that there are so many retellings that do a much better job of what [a:Leigh Bardugo|4575289|Leigh Bardugo|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1534446099p2/4575289.jpg] was trying to accomplish. I will say I thought that the art by [a:Sara Kipin|16368146|Sara Kipin|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1488326575p2/16368146.jpg] was beautiful and that's what bumped up the rating from the 1 star I was going to give it. I understand the appeal of the book but it just wasn't for me.
